People who hold the chalk

Three tapers, one maple

Nobody here is a swing coach for hire. We photograph a path and match hardware to it. The names below are the ones who will be on the boards when you arrive.

Founder · floor

Maeve Collin

Maeve took the Salina lease in 2014 after a winter of watching Syracuse league putters buy quiet faces they could not square on a banana. She grew up skating Onondaga and still treats ice light as a working condition, not a postcard. She lays the copper tick and decides when a board is too dented to trust. If she is on the floor, the first six rolls are hers to throw away.

Hang after chalk

Ellis Brant

Ellis opens the drawer only after the photographs exist. He came from a club-repair bench in Dewitt and still talks about hosels as if they were furniture joints. His job is to find a toe drop that agrees with the radius already on the maple. He will send you out with a written number and no head if the drawer is empty. He considers that a successful hour.

Pace and skid

Juniper Hale

Juniper keeps the stimp notes and the January carpet. She used to mark greens at a nine in Cazenovia and still hates a roll that skids because someone tested on a warehouse mat in July. She writes the seasonal sentence on the ribbon: indoor nap versus June poa, frost delay versus afternoon grain downtown. If you skip her window, do not blame Maeve in April.
