Second sentence
Length moves the curve. It does not invent a family.
A longer shaft can quiet a banana by changing how the shoulders carry the head. A shorter one often feeds the wrists. Neither will turn a rail golfer into a banana golfer on purpose, and we will not pretend otherwise.
People arrive with a number they were told equals their height. Height is a rumor. Eye line over the tick is a location. We set length so the copper disc is under the eyes you actually use, then we watch the radius. If the banana inflates when we shorten, that is data. If the rail starts to leak when we lengthen past a certain inch, that is also data.
We do this after the first chalk, not instead of it. A 36-inch rail stick on banana wrists is a common Syracuse attic story. The stick was doing posture work the wrists never asked for. Cutting it without photographs is how you buy a new miss.
Lie angle rides along. We are not a press. We will note a heel that is skating or a toe that is digging because that skating changes the chalk. We will not mill a sole for sport. If the length change makes the sole honest, we stop. If it does not, the ribbon says so and you can take that sentence to a mill.
