A ribbon is a clock, not a head
You are giving maple time. You are not guessing a mallet for a person whose banana you have never seen. That is the entire point of this stock.
The desk writes the recipient, the ribbon type, and a twelve-month window. Floor tape, twin-path, stimp, or winter recut — same dollars as the tariff. We do not print a SKU on the card. If they arrive with a quiet face they cannot square, Ellis still tapes first.
Winter recuts can only be used January through March. A ribbon bought in July does not conjure a recut in August. If you want them on the boards before the snow, say so in the note; Maeve will not invent weather.
Pick up on Salina or have us hold it at the desk for the recipient. We do not ship putters as gifts. We will not wrap a head “just in case.”

If they would rather have a lesson, this is the wrong gift. Send them to a coach. If they keep three-putting on poa with a head a friend liked, this is the right paper.
